AT&T Navigator: Maps & Traffic App Reviews

Worst customer service

Contacted by this company after I made my last review outlining a few areas of opportunity and got more attitude and excuses than you can imagine. Will not be renewing my subscription.

Horrible App.

Not worth 2 cents- list so many times because of bad data- closed restaurant- fictitious locations with correct titles- cant say enough bad things about this app. Dont buy, use, etc. - use Google Maps- hundred times better- and Free.

My Reason For Giving 2 Stars...

Verizon navigator only costs $4.99 a month and has way more features. When there are several free voice guided gps apps in the App Store, it is extremely arrogant of AT&T to charge $9.99. Beyond that, I want a male voice, and the speed limit sign should also show the speed your going; at all times, not just have the icon turn red if you exceed the speed limit. All of AT&T apps look like they were designed for iOS 1. You should hire someone capable of designing something that looks like it belongs on iOS 9.

Okay, but .....

I find the app to NOT be very user friendly overall. When trying to save an address as a "Favorite", doing so is not very intuitive. I also noticed it took a few moment for the app to realize I was moving. By the time the app relaxed I was moving, I had to turn around. Also, at times the voice guidance was seconds behind my driving. Announcing the directions before I get to an intersection or lane split would be nice. Wish I couldve given the app more stars!! But two will have to do!!

Not as good as it use to be

I have had this app for years now, however, now every few days Im having to reenter a code they send me to use the app. The code is never different and this is annoying!!

Good overall

Accessing contacts and able to see speed limit or way to select option. Overall ok

Great

Great app like all the customisation

Could not find me on trip

I downloaded this because I was taking a nearly 1900 mile trip and was hoping because of traffic notices it would be of great help. But it could not locate me on most of my trip and when it did I kept getting overheated notices and my phone would turn off. And after having to delete so much off my phone and update it I choose to inscribe so I did not have a good experience with it at all.

Wont work

Spent three days trying but no results. Maybe YouTube had an answer but I was to busy to spend much time studying the app. Should be automatic and anticipate.

Not great

Dont need to pay for an app that isnt great.

Bug infested

New update. Still bugs. Loses satellite all the time. You have to quit and start again!!! Countless new bugs. Too many to list. Recent places lists alphabetical vs in order in time (previous version). Thinking of canceling. Also the latest version looses GPS lock!!!!! Switching to Garmin.

What happened?

Should be free. Even had ads.

Not worth paying.

It has bug issues and I am finding other maps; like goggle maps and Waze that are FREE working a lot better. Canceling subscription. Dont see why ATT cant prove why their app is better.

Beware

Guess this would be a great App if you wanted an App you have to PAY a pretty fair price for to get any features. Otherwise you get the very basic navigation ability.

Great APP!!!

Great app I use this app on a daily basis.

Best application so far

Cant go wrong with this app.

Disappointing

Looking for new app since MotionX shut down and this will not be used as replacement. For $80+ per year on ATT, the traffic function does not reroute and the speed limit keeps flashing when you exceed the limit. Stick with Google, at least it is free.

AT&T Navigator

I am very disappointed as the update to my IOS on my 5S iPhone has also included major changes in the GPS apps. Which has made it necessary to delete Navigator and open a different GPS app. They removed the overview option and there appears to be no choices for routing options.

Really degrading in quality

Used to be good but in past three months repeated errors, especially around airports. Frankly, Im done paying exorbitant fees for erroneous crud.

My thoughts on the use of the ATT GPS App

I must admit that I am used to using map and or street book to reach my destination. Now that the GPS is so available I find that I am addicted to its use. My wife and I took a road trip to Missouri from Michigan on "Spiders". The significance of our mode of travel is the fact that I used the ATT app is that I used my iPhone with a wireless Bluetooth to guide us to and from our destination. We did not get lost during once during our eighteen hundred mile trip. The use of this app was indescribable. The time that the Is app saved us was invaluable. Than you very much Thomas A.
